Group walking facilitation
build your team and build yourself through structured group walks
WHAT IS WALKING FACILITATION?
One of the powerful practices that can support creative thinking and team building is walking together. Many leaders have been known to draw inspiration from walking in nature, using this environment as a space of reflection on the bigger questions and coming up with innovative ideas as a result. Getting out of the limitations of an office, structured collective walks are ways to strengthen team spirit, reflect on key projects or challenges, brainstorm on innovative ideas or gain new insights.Perfect for your team building event or just to brainstorm on a topic, walks in nature are gateways to deep thought and fresh insight.
Trained in walking facilitation, I combine structured dialogue, guided reflection, space for individual thinking and collective learning in practices that can deepen collaboration as well as our connection with the self and with others. Often used as a tool for management or leadership training, facilitated walks can:
-
draw reflection on purpose, values and drivers behind an activity, fostering genuine dialogue and deeper human connection
-
provide the space for new solutions to emerge through authentic dialogue, systemic reflection and spontaneous co-creativity
-
access more unseen levels of intelligence (intuition) and fresh insights offered by nature
-
bring about commonalities, by discovering people's talents and resources, strengthening the group
-
stimulate active listening, self-awareness, the capacity to stay with the discomfort, show vulnerability and speak authentically
Walking as a professional practice is inspired by nature and uses nature as a source of inspiration. Collective walking is not time off, it's a way of working differently together.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Any team who wants to reboot their thinking, connection and abilities, as a team but also at individual level. Nature and walking lovers.
